Nicole Laliberte (Natalie) Nicole is currently finishing a film written and directed by Factory icon Paul Morrissey (Women in Revolt). She has recently been seen on Law and Order, Rescue Me, and various billboards and commercials for Belvedere Vodka with Vincent Gallo. Nicole will be appearing on Edie Falco’s new television series Nurse Jackie and in the new web series Super Ego on Hulu. Recent theater work includes Chekhov (Uncle Vanya, The Seagull), Mastrosimone (Sunshine), Miller (A View from the Bridge), Domitrovich (Artfuckers). She lives in New York City.
Mark Saturno (Michael) Mark is an Australian actor who spent has spent 11 years working in theatre, TV and film in New York City and around the US. He has appeared on Broadway in The Retreat from Moscow as well as many off Broadway productions. His film credits include
Heaven’s Burning and Alchemy. Mark currently lives in Australia where he runs his family’s vineyard, making some of Australia’s best wines!
Dawn Noel Pignuola (Jasmine) Dawn has a BFA from the University of the Arts (Phila.) She has traveled around the world performing with some of the biggest names in music including Madonna and J.LO and has graced the Broadway stages in In the Heights, Lion King and Fame. Dawn is currently making the transition into acting and just moved to Los Angeles. Her feature film credits include: My Normal, Grand Slammed, Salsa Lessons, The Wackness, Enchanted, The Start Up, I'm Going to Tell You a Secret and Across the Universe.
Ty Jones (Noah) Ty is an award-winning actor, writer, producer and current Chairman of the Board for the Classical Theater of Harlem. Jones’s play and screenplay Emancipation: Chronicles of the Nat Turner Rebellion has received critical acclaim as the winner of the San Francisco Black Film Festival, screenwriting competition, a screenwriting Finalist at the Sundance Feature Film Institute, Honorable Merit from the American Screenwriters Association, and an endorsement from the Southern Poverty Law Center. Emancipation enjoyed a cathartic premiere when it opened in 2008 at the very location where Malcolm X was murdered in 1965; the Malcolm X & Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial and Educational Center at Audubon Ballroom in New York’s Washington Heights district.
In 2006, Time Out New York declared Jones as “One of 25 actors to Watch.” A powerful force on the New York acting scene, Jones has been described as “Witty, powerful, charming and sexy.” Jones won the coveted Obie Award for his performance as Archibald in the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production of The Blacks: A Clown Show. He made his Broadway debut playing Lt. Byers in Judgment at Nuremberg, and went on to join the Tony Award-Winning production of Henry IV with Ethan Hawke and Kevin Kline. Jones also enjoyed a solid run in Denzel Washington’s production of Julius Caesar, which was directed by Tony-Award winner Daniel Sullivan. As a member of the Classical Theater of Harlem, Jones has received several Audelco nominations for his roles in Macbeth, Trojan Women and Ain’t Supposed to Die. Jones earned his stripes by engaging with a wide range of regional theaters over the years, including the American Shakespeare Theatre Company, Baltimore’s Center Stage, Cleveland Playhouse, The Guthrie in Minneapolis, Indiana Repertory Theatre and Pittsburgh’s Public Theater. Jones also had the pleasure of producing the Off-Broadway hit, Creation: A Clown Show.
Jones’s film and television credits are no less impressive. In 2009 he will be seen in a variety of supporting roles, including The Taking of Pelham 123 starring Denzel Washington & John Travolta and in The International starring Clive Owen and Naomi Watts. Jones also traveled to the Middle East in recent years to film Brain DePalma’s critically acclaimed Redacted where he played Master Sergeant Jim Sweet. Television viewers can catch him this year on Ugly Betty and the brand new pilot for Cupid debuting on ABC this spring. Jones has also enjoyed numerous supporting roles on NBC’s Law and Order, Law and Order: SUV and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Heath Kelts (Jim) Heath is excited to be part of My Normal. Other film credits include The Transporter 2, Red Flag and Passing Fancy. Television: Chief Gnome in ‘Gordon the Garden Gnome’ and Grandpa Pig in ‘Peppa Pig’ (Cartoon Network). Heath has performed internationally in Romeo and Juliet at The Fifth Annual Latin American Theatre Festival in Argentina, Off-Broadway in Tina Landau’s production of Trojan Women, A Love Story, and regionally in theatres all over the country. Recent theatrical credits: P4/Apollon in Underground Man (Brick Theatre, NY Premiere), John Williamson in Glengarry Glen Ross (Mosaic Theatre), Cass in The Penguin Tango (NY Fringe), John in Oleanna (Mosaic Theatre), The Full Monty and House & Garden (Actors’ Playhouse). Favorite past roles: Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock’s Last Case, Yvan in “Art”, Freddy Malins in James Joyce’s The Dead, and Proteus in Two Gentlemen of Verona. Commercials include Ruby Tuesday (currently running), Southwest Airlines, Meijer, Florida Lottery and Crowne Plaza Resorts. Heath holds an MFA from University of Washington and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild. He lives in Brooklyn with his amazing wife Michelle, their dog Rocky and newborn son Conor.
Naama Kates (Melanie) moved to New York City at 18 to pursue her dreams of performing and after a couple years of bartending, singing in a band, and acting classes at the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts, she landed a lead role in the off-Broadway show, "Beyond the Veil." At the show was director Morgan Pehme, who asked her to screen-test and eventually get the lead in her first feature film, "Twilight of Magic (US: Nothing Sacred) a Belgian-American fantasy. It was followed by a handful of other great roles in independent New York films, such as "Super Slice" (audience-favorite award at Tribeca Film Festival), "My Normal," "Cookies and Cream," (in competition at NY International Film Festival), and "The Firefly, the Fish, and the Jew."
After linking up with her amazing manager and agent, she moved to Los Angeles and shot a lead on "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigation Squad," "Blood Night," and "No Man's Land." She is now starring in the musical "Little Bit of Broadway" at the Santa Monica Promenade Playhouse and is looking forward to the horizon. Naama now lives in Los Feliz. Maine Anders (Sonia) Maine Anders captivates audiences and innocent bystanders every time she hits the stage. Locally and internationally, she has performed at events, clubs, cabarets, and theaters from MGM Grand*s Studio 54 in Las Vegas to the Buddha Bar in Beirut, Lebanon. Energetic, sensual, and wildly charismatic, her uninhibited rhythmic style and sense of humor blend an ensemble of samba, belly dance, African, improvisation and contortion, into a movement she has coined *Burlesque Fusion*.
During her illustrious career she has performed for and alongside a myriad of greats including legends James Brown and Lionel Richie, pop sensations Jessica Simpson and Pharrell Williams, and burlesque divas Dita Von Tease and Gentry de Paris. This Georgia girl with small town beginnings now features with the infamous DJ Tiesto and exclusive fashion events hosted by icons Patricia Field and Marc Jacobs. Maine Anders aka the Maine Attraction will continue to grace any stage where she can let her creativity ride.
